On 24-27 April 2017, The National Tourist Union (NTU) supported by the Open Sea Cultural and Educational Programs Foundation will take part in the work of the 24th international tourism exhibition "Arabian Travel Market Dubai 2017" ("ATM -2017"), where it will present 14 Russian regions united under the NTU auspices. Such a large-scale participation caused by the mutual interest of the Arabian countries and Russia in terms of opening new tourist destinations and tourist exchange growth.
The NTU actively interacts with the regional authorities, public organizations, and industry professionals in many aspects of tourism development on the territory of the Russian Federation. One of them is investment proposals and programs. The experience of the countries which brought tourism in a highly profitable sector of their economy can be successfully applied in Russia. The NTU will present in Dubai investment projects which can be implemented with the participation of foreign companies: a tourist cluster creation in the Yaroslavl region and the road infrastructure development in regions with high tourist attractiveness.
The NTU team includes the delegation from the Republic of Dagestan headed by Rabiat Zakavova, the Minister for tourism and national artistic trades. The Russian regions will be presented in a multimedia presentation featuring best tourist opportunities of the North Caucasus; the Altai Republic; Karelia Republic; Krasnodar territory, the Chechen Republic; the Astrakhan, Arkhangelsk, Vologda, Tomsk, Kemerovo, Yaroslavl regions; St. Petersburg, Irkutsk, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Districkt.
Russia will be also presented by Sofia Nikitchuk, Miss Russia-2015, 1st Vice-miss World 2015, and Mikhail Simonyan, a famous Russian violinist, winner of the international awards and Grand Prix, the President of the Open Sea Cultural and Educational Programs Foundation.
